This July, Get Physical release Sounds of Meditation, a fantastic compilation that encourages you to pause, think, and get lost in gentle sounds.

The ‘Sounds of Meditation’ compilation comes a week after Metatext's EP of the same name on the label and includes an edit of that track plus some top notch catalogue material from Get Physical and Kindisch, including artists like Jazzuelle, Reboot, WhoMadeWho, Raz Ohara and more.

It is Ben Hoo that kicks things off with the beautifully thought-provoking classical piano and ambient piece 'Collected' which really soothes the mind. S.E.T.'s 'Fly' (Electronica Version) brings gently lilting and sun-kissed downbeat sounds that bring to mind an Ibizan beach session. Key South African innovator Jazzuelle has always been a master of deeply emotive sounds as albums and Eps on this label have proven, and his 'For Maneo' is a lush and late-night cosmic synth exploration.

The edit of Metatext's 'Sound Of Meditation' reworks it into a spacious but still dubbed out masterclass, while Israel Vich & Marco Tegui explore peaceful acoustics and electronics on their rolling and hypnotic 'Tortuga'. Keeping you firmly in a reverie, YokoO revisits his 'Alexithymia' track with Retza and reworks it into a soothing and delicate house track with real depth. Reboot's farsighted and deep space 'For A Shadow To Dance With' is a majestic exploration of the cosmos, and El Mundo & Zazou remix 'Get On' into a codeine paced track with subtle trumpets, shimmering chords and blissful grooves. Last of all, Kompakt favourites WhoMadeWho close out this most escapist listen with Balearic guitar riffs drifting out into a wide-open sky.

This is a perfect accompaniment to home listening, deep contemplation, and resetting your mood.
