Get Physical artist Andrea Ljekaj has curated the fifth EP in the ongoing Croatia, Get Physical! series and it will be supported by a label party at CRKVA KLUB in Rijeka on the day of release.

Andrea Ljekaj is a multi-award winner with a powerful sound who heads up the Croatia, Gets Physical! project with A&R and local events. It shines a light on exciting Croatian talent and now returns with music from more rising stars.

Ljekaj himself kicks off with 'Wonders Never Cease' feat Je Veux, a rhythmically inventive cut full of energy. Plunging bass and broken beats, lithe synth lines and dense percussive patterns are topped off with an angelic vocal that brings some serenity to the bustling groove.

Roy Beatie is next, a Zagreb artist who makes music for labels like Aquarius Records and Dubwise. His superb 'Driving Rain' brings a flurry of energetic breaks with pulsing bass down low. A fusion of steamy sax sounds and expressive melodies burst out of the mix, making for a party-starting tune with an all-new atmosphere.

PEAK, aka Aron Peak, is a UK born but Zagreb-based talent who brings an eclectic palate of signature sounds, that draws from the likes of Bonobo and James Blake. His 'Now & Then' is a seductive but dynamic house cut with alluring female vocals drifting about next to uplifting chords and smooth stabs. Great texture and complex designs show PEAK to be a skilled studio craftsman who also knows how to move the floor.

This is another authentic window into the contemporary Croatian scene.
