Get Physical keep up their busy schedule with another winner, this time in the form of a L_cio remix of Leo Janeiro & Mumbaata’s ‘Blaze.’
L_cio is a Brazilian artist who is known for being a flute playing virtuoso. He contributed these skills to Portable's massive 2014 crossover hit ‘Surrender’ and is also a live performer and producer who has played all over the world from Egg London to Boiler Room Sao Paolo via Robert Johnson in Frankfurt.
Over the course of six minutes he remixes ‘Blaze’ in real style layering up magical synths that dance up to the heavens. The drums are nimble and floaty, and there is a rousing sense of emotion in the track that will lift up the spirits of any crowd. This is a musical, lasting track that glows with rich melody.
The original from the talented South American pair of Leo Janeiro & Mumbaata is a rich deep house tune. It is peppered with claps and toms, has surging stabs at the core and a journeying sense of groove that really transports you to the cosmos.
These are two more perfectly classy house tracks from Get Physical.
